Use the Select a Plan to Open Dialog, accessed from the Planner menu bar (File > Save Client File As) to:

Saving a Plan

  1. On the Planner’s menu bar, click File > Save Client File As.
  2. On the Select a Plan to Open Dialog, in the Name field, type a name for the plan.
  3. Click Save. If a plan with the name you entered already exists, a message will be display informing you that you can overwrite the existing plan.

The plan is saved on the remote server for the Web program edition, not on your hard drive as with the desktop program edition.

After you save the plan under a new name, the program adds the plan name to the top of the list of recently opened plans on the File menu. Most Page Setup and all Calculations Options and Assumptions are saved with the client plan and will be loaded the next time you open the plan.

If you try to save a previously unsaved plan, the Select a Plan to Open Dialog opens. To quickly invoke the Save Client File As command, click the Save icon on the toolbar.

Unlike the desktop program edition, you must manually save the plan in the Web program edition.
