Activate |
to make an inactive user active, enabling the user to access the system once again. See
Active, Deactivate, Inactive, and Status. |
Active |
a user status that enables the user to access the system. See Activate, Deactivate, Inactive, and Status. |
Activities |
the changes made by a user. See also History. |
Audit Trail |
a page available to Subscription Administrators that shows all user activities made in the system. See
Activities, History. |
Blocked |
a client permission; a level of client access assigned to a user. A user with Blocked permission cannot access
the client or the client's plans. For more information, see Permissions. |
Client |
the person for whom users (tax planning professionals) conduct income tax analyses and for whom plans are
created. |
Deactivate |
to make inactive. A user's status can be changed from active to inactive, which prevents the user from
accessing the system. See Activate, Active, Inactive, and Status. |
Editor |
a client permission; a level of client access assigned to a user. A user with Editor permission is permitted
to view, edit, copy and delete all client information and can save changes made to client plans, but cannot

Edit Client Page > Permissions Tab. |
Owner |
a client permission; a level of client access assigned to a user. A user with Owner permission can perform
all Editor functions and can grant client permissions to other users and remove clients from the system. For
more information, see Permissions. |
Plan |
a client plan or analysis. When a plan has been saved to a local or network drive, it is referred to as a file
(with the .it extension). |
Practitioner |

Activate, Active, Deactivate, and Inactive. |
Subscription Administrator |
a user role, distinguished from the other user role of Practitioner. For more information, see Differences in User Roles. |
Team |
a set of Practitioners. After a team has been created by a Subscription Administrator, users can then grant
client permissions to teams. The Teams feature is available only with the Enterpriseaccount. Only practitioners
can be members of a team. Subscription Administrators, by role definition, have implicit Owner permission for
all clients in the system, which means Subscription Administrators have unrestricted client management rights.
