Open a Plan

There are several ways to open a plan. The method you choose depends on whether you want to open a plan from within the Web application or from within the Planner.

Opening a Plan From Within the Web Application

The first time you attempt to open a client plan from within the Web application, you will be prompted to install a browser plugin called Turbo. Follow your browser specific instructions to install the plugin. After installing the plugin, the plan opens in the Planner.

On the Clients Page

In the Plan column, click the plan name.

Or,

  1. Position your mouse pointer to the right of a plan name in the Plan column.
  2. Click the chevron that appears next to the plan name. A pop-up menu opens showing the most recently opened plans.
  3. On the submenu, click the plan name.

Or, 

  1. Click the Recent Plans link on the right side of the page.
  2. On the Recent Plans list, click the plan name.

On the Edit Client Page > Plans Tab

In the Plan column, click the plan name.

Or,

  1. Click the ellipsis icon next to the plan name.
  2. On the submenu, click Open.

Opening a Plan From Within the Planner

  1. Click the Open icon  on the toolbar, or click File > Open Client File.

  2. On the Select a Plan to Open dialog, click to select a plan in the list for the selected client.

  3. Click OK.

To open a plan for a different client, click Change Client and follow the instructions on the Select a Client dialog.

Or,

  1. Click File on the menu bar. The bottom of the File menu shows a list of the most recently used plans.
  2. Click the plan name in the list.

For Income Tax Planner Web integration, the Planner fetches the last accessed set of plans from the remote server. So, as in the desktop program edition, the Most Recently Used list of plans is shown on the File menu.
