While working in with a client plan in Income Tax Planner Web, you can save a letter or letter template as a new letter template.
Saving a Letter Template
With the Client Letter window in view, click File > Save Letter Template As. The Select a Letter Template to Save dialog opens.
In the Name field, type a new name for the letter template. Alternatively, you can select a name of an existing letter template from the list (the existing letter template will be overwritten). To save the customized letter as a client letter (not as a template), simply save the client plan.
